The Australian Society of Archivists has announced the ‘ 2011 SYMPOSIUM ‘ARCHIVING THE ICONIC’

The Symposium program, covering sessions titled Iconic Spaces, Iconic People and Iconic Events and featuring a range of speakers, has been specially curated to attract both the professional archivist and recordkeeper as well as the novice working in a non-archival institution.

The aim is to stimulate a day of rich and ongoing dialogue for Australia’s archival and recordkeeping profession through the Symposium’s exploration of community memory, meaning and pluralisation.
